While both share the same country of origin, we honestly couldn’t fathom seeing Polo Ralph Lauren and New Balance together on a shoe. The result will perhaps not bode well with many as New Balance, a brand known mostly for its running offerings combine with the legendary Polo Pony for a rather conflicted arrangement. Perhaps its Polo’s lack of performance offerings that make this partnership so off-base with the branding so prominent on the side. This release coincides with the U.S. Open which begins August 29 till September 11.

Casio G-Shock GA-100B New Releases

Casio G-Shock has just unveiled a slew of new offerings for the season. With a jet black face that features white details and digital accents, the design of these styles continues along the same lines as some of the G-Shocks we’ve seen before. A new colorway in Nike’s Air Max 90 arrives at Primitive. Outfitted with sport red accents, the sneaker sits atop a mostly white leather/mesh base with black highlights throughout. Much like many sportswear brands that transitioned into the skateboarding industry, adidas offered a number of its pro team members access to the adidas Originals line-up. The signature Busenitz takes on some obvious soccer shoe sensibilities with a Copa Mundial-inspired upper with a modified Spezial tooling. A clean white and black colorway is further offset by a gum sole. Available now at DQM.

Nike Match Classic Premium

As a tennis staple, the Nike Match Classic’s simplified design aesthetic has stood the test of time. In its latest transformation, the shoe is elevated with premium leather and distinct black hits in the laces and inner collar, complemented with a classic white midsole. Although the tennis slam season has wound down, the sport is alive in August with the US Open and the launch of the Nike Match Classic Premium in two colorways, a rich brown color called Pony and an Iguana green colorway. Look for the shoe to release at select global retailers in September 2011.

UNDFTD’s James Bond and David Beckham have teamed up once again for another creative version of the adidas ZX 800 By David Beckham and James Bond. This lowtop rendering of an 80s runner features a fine suede canvas mix as well as mesh based upper. Leather tongue labels are incorporated nicely, which also go well with the adidas labels on the midsole. Two colorways will be available later this August and can be found in a white, black and blue colorway or a white, maroon and black colorway.
